Mr. Rizwan R. Gubitra
I feel a sense of satisfaction and pride, as I look today, at our educational institute which was initiated by our forefathers. Their ideals and vision are taking shape before us. We feel privileged for having this opportunity to do something better to our community by providing them the best education and contributing to their all round development.
We aim to lend a gentle guiding hand so that our students recognise their inner potential and grow. We help out students to realise their innate abilities and nurture them through guidance and mentoring. Co-curricular activities are encouraged and the students are given every form of support to develop their talents in all fields. Our brand of education does not have narrow horizons, we believe in exposure.
We are committed to ensuring that our students are offered high quality education, teaching and learning at our institute. We provide opportunities and encourage them to pursue their studies to their fullest potential. Once they graduate from our college, they have a well-earned degree.
We have an extremely dedicated team of faculty members who guide, mentor and counsel the students continuously and bring out the best from them. The faculty members also stalwartly believe in attainment of goals and accordingly adapt to changes around, this skill is deftly conveyed to students as well.

As a chairman of this college, I continue to live up the dream of a noble visionary late Haji Kareem Suleman Jaffer or Cummoo Seth, by giving my constant support to the cause of women's education. His ambition of making education accessible to women particularly of minority community was, well ahead of his time. Hence, we carry on his legacy to bring change in the society at large by successfully running this educational institution since 1939 and later, we started CJS College in 1999, which was followed by CJS Degree College for higher education.
Imparting a quality education is the biggest service to the individual, to the nation and to humanity the world over. We wish to provide our students a holistic learning experience for life. Our aim is to teach students to LEARN, not just STUDY. Hence, we strive to travel beyond the boundaries of mere books. We prepare our students to face the future which is abstract and unknown.
I have not the slighter doubt that the college will continue to play its leading role in the women's higher education. This website highlights multifarious activities and achievements of our college. CJS faculty and staff pledge their best efforts in helping you attain your educational goals.
