Greetings from the Staff and Students and welcome to Cummoo Jaffer Suleman College Of Arts and Commerce, an institution of excellence and achievements. Our Educational Institution was established way back in 1939. We commenced Cummoo Jaffer Suleman Junior College of Arts and Commerce for Women in 1999 and soon after in order to cater the needs of higher Education we established Cummoo Jaffer Suleman Degree College for Women.
Women of the 21ts century are a great human resource in this rapidly globalised world and the role of women in the society has always been critical for the development of a nation. Hence, students in our college are groomed to become confident, articulate and enlightened young citizens. We shape them to be better human being so they step into global society with dignity and integrity. We believe in giving our students strong values along with quality education to help them emerge as world leaders.
It is wonderful to look back at the last few years of our college which have been extremely successful. The phenomenal academic achievements of our students have always added glory to our college. Our college has a tradition of participating in extra curriculum activities and inter-collegiate competitions, in which our students continue to bring us laurels year after year.
Our college motto is “Believe, Strive and Accomplish” . Our College has highly qualified, dynamic and multi-talented faculties and non-teaching staff. Teachers at CJS mentor the students in achieving quality education and encourage them to participate in debates, group discussions, workshops, seminars and cultural competitions.
I feel proud to head such institution which strives constantly to empower woman in all the walks of her life. Let us all give our best and make this institution more successful in the years to come. Wishing you All the Best...!
